A Kelifos custom trip is a walking or cycling holiday in Greece built around you: your dates, your pace, your way of walking or riding. Each itinerary grows out of a conversation with our advisors, hiking and cycling specialists in Greece for over forty years. They know the trails, the roads and the addresses, and design with you a trip that suits you, from the first trail to the last dinner on a terrace.
Our method: starting from the way you travel
It all starts with a conversation, by phone or by email. You tell us about your project: the region that appeals to you, how long you would like to go for, and above all the active trip you have in mind. On foot along coastal paths and village trails, by bike on the islands' quiet roads, or alternating the two.
Your advisor asks the right questions. How many hours do you enjoy walking? Are you comfortable on a stony path? Do you prefer a classic bike or an e-bike? They suggest trails you may not have thought of, then send you a first draft within a few days.
Our custom trips remain walking or cycling trips: we do not arrange self-drive tours, beach holidays or hotel-only bookings.
Built step by step
The proposed itinerary is only a starting point. Together, we refine it:
- The stages: would you like an extra day in that Cretan village for a walking loop? To reach the neighbouring island by boat and walk there? We arrange it.
- The pace: shorter or longer stages, a rest day in the middle of the trip, time for a swim at the end of the day. You decide the intensity.
- The formula: self-guided with your travel pack, or accompanied by a guide.
- The addresses: boutique hotel, guesthouse run by a Greek family: each place is chosen for its position on the route, to suit your preferences and budget.

- Transferring your luggage from stage to stage
