June marks the gentle entry into the Greek summer. The sea becomes truly inviting, days stretch to 15 hours of light, and every evening is spent dining outdoors with a view of the sunset. Coastal paths are bathed in crystalline clarity, villages hum without hustle, and you savour the first sun-ripened tomatoes of the season. Browse our guided journeys or self-guided itineraries to enjoy this still-serene Greece.

Temperatures settle between 25 and 30 degrees, and the sea reaches around 22 degrees, a real pleasure for a daily swim. This is the month when days begin to revolve around the water: a morning walk, lunch in the shade of a plane tree, an afternoon dip in a secluded cove, and come evening, the flavours of a taverna terrace.
Early June remains calm on most islands. Prices have not yet reached their summer peak, and charming addresses are available without booking far in advance. The light is spectacular (photographers know this well) and sunsets last a golden eternity.
The Cyclades are splendid in June, before the July-August influx. The lanes of Paros, the hidden paths of Naxos and the coves of Milos are discovered in a relaxed atmosphere. See all our trips in the Cyclades.
The Dodecanese (Rhodes, Karpathos, Symi) enjoy a particularly mild climate in June. Crystal waters, medieval villages and hilltop monasteries compose a postcard-perfect setting. Explore the Dodecanese.
The Ionian Islands retain their emerald setting while offering ideal temperatures for cycling discovery. Corfu, with its olive groves and Venetian architecture, is a feast for the senses.
Irene 6/23/26 • Corfu by e-bike in 8 days - Kelifos
— The early-morning flight allowed us to visit Corfu, an island covered with magnificent olive and cypress trees. We didn’t suffer from the heat, and we went swimming without any problems. Our travel advisor had insisted that we choose electric bikes, and we didn’t regret it
Bernadette 7/3/26 • Walking holiday in Crete, White Mountains and azure sea in 8 days - Kelifos
— We are very happy with the itinerary and with the hike itself, which crosses magnificent landscapes and offers various options to take shortcuts by boat at certain points. The hotels chosen are good and comfortable, except the one in Omalos, which is now dated and not very well maintained (we had stayed there in 2013 and nothing has changed). Everywhere the reception and service staff were friendly, warm, efficient, and full of good advice.

Andrew 12/27/25 • Corfu by e-bike in 8 days - Kelifos
— Great nature and cycling trip. The olive forests and wild jasmine give the island a unique flavor.
