Arrival at Corfu airport; make your own way to the port. Boarding from 2 pm. Take time to wander through the Venetian lanes of the old town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before returning to the boat for your first dinner on board. The crew welcomes you, you discover your cabin, and the evening ends beneath the stars, lulled by the harbour.
Picture this: you rest your bike on the deck, settle at the dinner table as the sun dips behind the hills of Kefalonia, and the boat glides gently towards your next port of call. Tomorrow morning, a new island awaits, its roads lined with olive trees, its secret coves and its villages where coffee is savoured facing the sea. For eight days, this will be your daily life: ride in the morning through unspoilt landscapes, then find the comfort of your cabin and the flavours of Greek cuisine on board your traditional wooden sailing boat.
Kelifos invites you to discover the Ionian Islands in a unique way, combining cycling and sailing. From Corfu to Paxos, via Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca and Meganisi, you explore six islands without ever packing and unpacking. The boat is your floating home: your belongings stay in the cabin, and each evening a new harbour welcomes you with its lights, its tavernas and its island atmosphere. The e-bike option, which we warmly recommend, transforms the Ionian hills into a leisurely ride: you enjoy the panoramas without effort, you stop when a viewpoint calls, you arrive refreshed and ready to savour every moment.
This is a trip designed for pleasure, where sea and cycling complement each other in perfect harmony. No luggage to carry, no transfers to arrange, no logistics to manage. Simply the happiness of being carried along by the wind, the road, and the Greek joie de vivre.
Itinerary

Program
The boat sets sail towards Sivota, on the mainland coast. You mount your bike for the first ride of the trip: a coastal road to Parga, a charming fortress-town with colourful facades and shaded terraces. Time for a coffee by the water, then back on board for a long crossing to Nidri, on the island of Lefkada. On the way, you pass the swing bridge that connects the island to the mainland, a spectacle in itself.
The morning begins with a walk to a waterfall tucked in the greenery near Nidri. If conditions allow, a refreshing swim awaits. Then the road rises gently through the hills of Lefkada, between olive groves and views over the turquoise sea, to the pretty little harbour of Sivota. The boat picks you up there for a cruise to Fiskardo, at the northern tip of Kefalonia. This village of colourful houses and lively terraces facing the harbour is one of the archipelago's pearls, the perfect spot for a free evening at a taverna.
The finest day of the trip, according to many travellers. From Fiskardo, the road climbs along the west coast of Kefalonia, offering striking views of the Assos peninsula and the famous Myrtos beach, whose deep blue waters contrast with the white cliffs. After this climb (greatly eased by e-bike), you cross the island's interior to the Melissani cave, an underground lake bathed in an unreal blue light filtering through the stalactites. You finish at Sami, where the boat awaits for a crossing to Vathy, the main port of Ithaca.
The island of Odysseus welcomes you with its maquis-covered hills and crystal waters. From Vathy, two options depending on your mood: a panoramic climb for the most curious, or a gentler route along the coast. Either way, you discover an island that has remained outside of time, where centuries-old olive trees line peaceful paths and every bay invites contemplation. The boat meets you at the port of Frikes for an end-of-day sail to the small island of Meganisi.
Meganisi is a hidden gem: a few villages of white houses, isolated roads, absolute tranquillity. You explore the island by bike in complete peace, passing through its three villages and the beach of Spartochori, where a coffee stop and a swim come naturally. In the afternoon, the boat unfurls its sails for a crossing to Paxos, whose natural harbour of Gaios exudes an incomparable island atmosphere: pastel houses, fishing boats, cascading bougainvillea.
Paxos is so densely planted with olive trees that the entire island seems wrapped in a silver veil. The morning is devoted to a ride around the island, between shaded paths, charming little ports and beaches where the transparent water irresistibly invites a swim. Take your time: this is the last cycling stage, and Paxos deserves to be savoured. In the afternoon, the boat sets course for Corfu for a final evening on board, an opportunity for a convivial dinner under the stars.
After breakfast on board, you disembark and make your own way to the airport or town centre. If you wish to extend your stay on Corfu, we can arrange additional nights. Contact us.

Practical information
Stages vary from 17 to 40 km per day, on mainly asphalted, quiet roads. The terrain is hilly, sometimes mountainous on Kefalonia and Ithaca. With an e-bike, which we warmly recommend to make the most of each day, the climbs are gentle and the trip remains a pleasure from start to finish. You are free to adapt each day: half a day riding and the afternoon on board to read or swim, or the full stage for the most curious. Helmet wearing is compulsory.
Nothing to carry. Your belongings stay in your cabin throughout the trip. A small daypack is all you need for your rides.
Registration from one person (single cabin compulsory for solo travellers). A minimum number of participants is required to confirm each departure.
8 days / 7 nights / 6 cycling days.
A Friday, from mid-April to mid-October.
You travel in an international group. The crew speaks English and German; a guide accompanies each cycling stage. A basic understanding of English is helpful. You may also choose to ride independently using the RideWithGPS app, with detailed maps and itineraries.
We provide a digital travel pack in English before departure, with your trip briefing and all practical information. On board, detailed itineraries are provided in English. Each morning, a briefing is offered on the day's stage.
Your cabin
Double cabin on the lower deck. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Option to book an upper deck cabin (with supplement) or a single cabin (subject to availability).
Full board for 2 days and half board for 5 days, as per the programme. Meals on board feature Greek cuisine with fresh produce. Please let us know of any food allergies at the time of booking. A special diet (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan) can be prepared for a supplement.
Start
Day 1 at 2 pm on board the boat, in Corfu harbour.
End
Day 8 in Corfu harbour, disembarkation after breakfast.
We advise against bringing your own bike (22 kg weight limit on board) and personal e-bikes are not permitted. Helmet wearing is compulsory; we recommend bringing your own (a few helmets are available for hire on board, reservation compulsory at booking).
Quality bikes are available for hire: classic hybrid bikes (24-speed Shimano, aluminium frame, available in men's and women's models) and e-bikes (powerful motor, 9-speed, Shimano hydraulic brakes, contained weight). A waterproof pannier is provided for the duration of the trip.
By air
Flights are not included in the trip. There are numerous direct flights to Corfu from the UK and across Europe. Take care not to book too early a flight on the last day.
Corfu port is approximately 4 km from the airport. Bus line 15 (approximately 20 min, 2 EUR) or taxi (approximately 15 min, 15 EUR). We can also arrange a transfer; contact us.
Many stages offer opportunities for swimming, during the ride or at the ports of call. The waters of the Ionian Islands are among the most limpid in the Mediterranean; it would be a shame not to enjoy them.

Brigitte 12/27/25
— A very warm welcome on board from two guides who were very helpful and attentive to our needs as passengers. Dionisos in particular was exceptional. Disappointed by the proposed destinations following program changes. Overall, a very expensive trip compared to reality. Poor value for money. Great discomfort for some: beds and bedding wet, water oozing down the walls.
Denis 12/27/25
— The gloomy weather was certainly a factor, but Grand Angle is obviously not to blame. The condition of the boat is a very negative point. On the other hand, the crew was great and the two guides (dedicated and very attentive) were excellent, especially Dionysios, who was very enthusiastic.
