Our Story
It all begins in 1983, in a small office where people dream of Greece. Not the Greece of catalogues, but the Greece of forgotten trails, tavernas with no sign, and villages where time flows to the rhythm of the seasons. That Greece had to be shared.
The first steps
At the beginning, there is Grand Angle, a pioneering agency for active travel in Europe. From its founding, Greece held a special place in the team's heart. Its islands, its mountains, its shores naturally invited walking and contemplation. Very quickly, what was meant to be one destination among others became an all-consuming passion.
The first trips were born from meticulous scouting, backpack on, notebook in hand. We walked the Cyclades island by island, hiked the Cretan gorges at dawn, and discovered the secret olive groves of the Peloponnese. Every trail tested, every address found added to an intimate knowledge of the ground that only time can build.
The birth of Kelifos
Forty years of travel in Greece forges a rare expertise. Rare enough to deserve its own identity. That is how Kelifos was born, a brand dedicated exclusively to Greece, carrying all the know-how accumulated over the decades.
The name? Kelifos is a discreet islet off the coast of Halkidiki. A rock covered in pines, surrounded by turquoise waters, visited only by those in the know. It perfectly embodies our vision of travel: going where others do not, discovering what the guidebooks do not show.
What has never changed
The years have passed, the trips have multiplied, the range has grown: walking trips, cycling holidays, guided tours, self-guided escapes. But the essentials remain intact:
