Carte : Serifos, Sifnos et Milos paradis des randonneurs

The morning light catches the first reflections on the limewashed walls, a cat slips between the basil pots, and somewhere in the lane a door opens to the aroma of Greek coffee. You are in the western Cyclades, where Greece takes its time to live. This self-guided trip of 10 days invites you to sail from island to island on Aegean ferries, from secretive Serifos to gourmet Sifnos, to the volcanic shores of Milos: three island characters, three moods, one shared art of living turned towards the sea, the table and contemplation.

Kelifos has composed this trip for travellers who love to walk without hurrying, to linger at the table, and to discover authentic Greece along its hidden paths. A route guide and a GPS app lead you each day along ancestral trails; your charming addresses are reserved on each island; all that remains is to enjoy the gentle rhythm of the archipelago. And if you prefer to be accompanied, discover our guided version of this trip, or explore other walking holidays in Greece, in Crete or the Ionian Islands.

You stay in charming family-run boutique hotels (2-star or equivalent comfort), in double rooms with private bathroom. These addresses, selected by Kelifos for their authenticity and the quality of their welcome, reflect island hospitality: small-scale establishments where you feel at home from the very first evening. Single room available on request.

Chambres d'hotel urbain avec vue sur le port du Piree - Athenes Grece

Hotel at Piraeus and Athens

Hotel Afroditi blanc et bleu avec terrasse fleurie - Cyclades Grece

Hotel Afroditi, Sifnos

Hotel Portiani moderne avec vue mer et chambres elegantes - Cyclades Grece

Hotel Portiani, Milos

Breakfasts are served each morning at the hotel (except in case of early ferry departure, when some hotels prepare a "breakfast box"). Lunches and dinners are free, so you can choose your own tavernas as the mood takes you; we recommend the best addresses in your route guide. Sifnos, considered the gastronomic capital of the Cyclades, is a permanent invitation to indulge: do not miss the revithada, the chickpea stew baked all night in a wood-fired oven. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

This trip is designed to be accessible to all walkers, even occasional ones. Walks last from 2 to 5 hours 30 per day, at a gentle pace that leaves time to contemplate, photograph and swim. The trails, well marked, present no technical sections. You carry only a small daypack with your daily essentials; the rest of your luggage awaits you at the next hotel when you change island. It is enough to enjoy walking and to be in good general fitness to make the most of every stage.

We provide a comprehensive digital route guide and access to our smartphone GPS guidance app. Each day is detailed step by step, with points of interest, swimming suggestions and recommended addresses. A printed version with maps and route guide is available as a supplement if you wish.

Ferry tickets between the islands are included in the price of the trip, along with transfers between ports and your hotels on Serifos and Sifnos. On Milos, the hotel is near the port. Other local transfers (buses on the islands) are at your own expense and very simple to use; our route guide shows you how.

You may also choose the private island transfer option, which saves you the local buses and offers additional comfort for reaching walk starting points and returning.

Greek ferries are an integral part of the experience: a crossing between two islands, a coffee on deck, the sea breeze and the horizon taking shape. Schedules are indicative and will be confirmed at the time of booking. In the event of weather disruption (rare), our local partners rearrange your route.
