Practical information

You stay in charming boutique hotels and quality family guesthouses (2 and 3 star), in double rooms with private bathroom. Single room available on request, with supplement. You carry nothing: a small daypack with your personal items is all you need. Your luggage awaits you each evening at the hotel.

All meals are included, from breakfast on Day 2 to breakfast on Day 8. Lunches take the form of picnics made from fresh local produce, or meals at a taverna. Dinners are served at the hotel or at tavernas selected by your guide. Cretan cuisine is a daily celebration: olive oil, mountain cheeses, sun-drenched vegetables, catch of the day.

This trip is accessible to all, including beginners in good general fitness. Walks last from 1 to 4 hours per day, on easy, well-marked trails. The out-and-back version of Samaria Gorge (Day 5) avoids the full descent. Your guide adjusts the pace to the group and offers shorter alternatives whenever possible.

From 5 to 15 people, accompanied by a qualified English-speaking guide. Conviviality and sharing are at the heart of the experience, with respect for each person's rhythm.

The trip begins on Day 1 at Heraklion airport and ends on Day 8 at the same airport.

Flights from Paris to Heraklion are included (scheduled airlines or Transavia). Departures from other cities available on request.

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are the ideal periods. Temperatures are mild, the light is magnificent, and the sites are less crowded. It is the perfect time to discover Crete in all its authenticity.
