Picture yourself at a terrace overlooking the Gulf of Messenia, a glass of Nemea wine in hand, as the sun sinks behind the Taygetos mountains. This very morning you were wandering the lanes of a Byzantine city listed by UNESCO; tomorrow, an ancient theatre with prodigious acoustics awaits. With Kelifos, this guided holiday of 10 days in the Peloponnese offers you the finest of mainland Greece in absolute comfort: an English-speaking guide attends to every detail, your luggage awaits at each stage, and the pace of the walks leaves ample room for contemplation and flavours.

Practical information

You stay in charming boutique hotels or carefully chosen guesthouses, in double rooms with private bathroom. The properties are selected for their character and their warm welcome. Your luggage is transported from one accommodation to the next: you carry only a small daypack.

Full board from breakfast on Day 2 to breakfast on Day 10. Lunches are taken as picnics; dinners at tavernas or at the hotel, to savour the local flavours: feta, olives, grilled fish, sun-drenched vegetables. Dinner on Day 1 is at your leisure.

This trip is accessible to all regular walkers. Walks last from 2 h to 4 h 30, on well-marked paths, at a pace that favours discovery and contemplative pauses. Your guide adapts the rhythm to the group.

A qualified English-speaking guide leads the group throughout the trip. An English-speaking cultural guide joins for the visits to Epidaurus, Mystras and the Athens Acropolis, enriching the journey with fascinating insights.

From 5 to 15 people.

The trip begins on Day 1 at Athens airport and ends on Day 10 at the same airport.

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are the ideal periods: golden light, mild temperatures, sites free from the crowds. The Peloponnese at its most delightful.

— A wonderful trip that harmoniously combines short hikes and the discovery of heritage sites. We often approached them on foot, which made the experience all the more memorable. Many thanks to our guide, Jérémy, who accompanied us with great kindness, goodwill and energy, and who passed on to us his passion for Greece. We couldn't have been better accompanied to discover the archaeological and natural heritage, as well as the gastronomic delights!
