The scent of lemon trees drifts on the warm air, a blue caique rocks in a cove where no one awaits you, and the late-afternoon light gilds the Venetian arcades of Kerkyra. This is the promise of a walking holiday between Corfu and Paxos: ten days to savour the Ionian art of living, step by step, never in a hurry.
Kelifos has composed this guided itinerary as an invitation to relish the contrast between two complementary islands. Corfu, large and cosmopolitan, unfurls its forests of centuries-old olive trees, its secret coves and its old town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Paxos, small and confidential, welcomes you in its miniature harbours of pastel houses, its paths bordered by dry-stone walls and its tavernas where the grilled fish has just come off the line.
Between the two, a ferry crossing like a deep breath, time to let your gaze wander over the deep blue of the Ionian Sea. Each day of walking alternates coastal panoramas, timeless villages and moments of swimming in waters of rare clarity. In the evening, a charming address awaits, your luggage already in your room, and dinner is taken on a terrace, facing the twilight.

This trip is accessible to anyone who enjoys walking and is in good general fitness. Daily walks last between 2 and 4 hours, on well-marked trails. The maximum climb in a day does not exceed 530 m, and the pace is always adapted to the group. No carrying: you need only a small bag with your daily essentials and your picnic.
Your luggage awaits you each evening in your room. During ferry crossings, a vehicle handles the transfer of your belongings between the boat and your accommodation.
Travel between Corfu and Paxos is on the regular Greek ferry lines, reliable and comfortable. These boats sail even in strong wind, and the sheltered coves of the Ionian Islands mean you do not feel the swell on land.
From 5 to 14 participants.
10 days / 9 nights.
By a French State-certified mountain leader or a local English-speaking guide with an intimate knowledge of the Ionian Islands.
In Liapades and Paxos: family-run boutique hotels or charming guesthouses, in double rooms with private bathroom. In Kerkyra: a character hotel in or near the old town. Single room available (subject to availability, with supplement).

Want to stay a little longer? We can arrange extra nights in Kerkyra or on another island. Discover our self-guided holidays to extend the adventure at your own pace, our itineraries in the Cyclades and Crete, or Corfu by bike for those who prefer two wheels.
Kelifos is committed to responsible tourism, built on over forty years of expertise. We favour accommodations run by local families, locally sourced produce in every meal, and itineraries that respect the fragile ecosystems of the Greek islands.
